The PUPPIES ARE COMING!
"Phoenix" (see current working dogs)
was bred to GUN RIVER'S ROOSTER COGBURN MH, CD (see our history) While Rooster is no longer with us, we did store
semen to be used later. This is our first litter in this manner.
Yellow pups are expected mid-September.
Rider (see current working dogs) is obedience and house
trained and has been trained as a hunter and companion. He marks well and
does some simple blind retrieves. He is a wonderful, sweet and gentle
companion.
Gun River's Fistfull of Dollars call name "Clint" will be 3 in November.
He is obedience trained, housetrained and is trained for the field. He is
also doing some casting. Clint has been duck hunting and is truly a
gentleman's dog in the duck blind. Clint's mom is our Hannah (see our history) and his sire is "Kobe" CH Prospect's Slam Dunk UD,

Nick
Nick was picked up as a stray and lived in a dog shelter for 3 months. During that time no one claimed him nor adopted him. His last day was on a Friday and he was scheduled to be euthanized on Saturday. I found out about him and said that if no one adopted him by the last day that I would take him. So he came to us and is now called Nick, since his placement happened in the Nick of Time. Nick is a wonderful sweet and energetic adult Labrador. I am guessing age to be around 2 to 3 years old. Nick has been with us for a number of months now being trained in basic obedience. Nick is current on vaccines and he is micro-chipped. He looks to be from field trial lines or possibly a Lab mixed with a pointer. He is a very happy dog and loves to please. He is now ready to find his loving forever home. As a condition of adoption Nick MUST be neutered.
